Grozny, July 21 (BNA): Dr. Khalid Fahad Al Alawi, Assistant Minister for Industrial Development at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, led the Bahraini delegation at the Caucasus Investment Forum-2024.
The forum, held under the patronage of Chechen Republic Head Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov, attracted more than 3,000 participants from over 30 countries.
In his speech, Al Alawi said Bahrain’s participation in the forum symbolizes the strong ties between the two countries. He highlighted the achievements of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s recent visit to the Russian Federation.
Al Alawi stressed Bahrain’s determination to further strengthen cooperation with the Chechen Republic in various fields.
He stressed the importance of enhancing investment through economic cooperation, especially within sectors identified in Bahrain’s Industrial Sector Strategy (2022-2026), including pharmaceuticals, food industry, semiconductors, renewable energy, aluminum manufacturing, petrochemicals, etc. This includes facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experience to advance research, development and industrial innovation.
