KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Earlier this week, Time magazine released its “World’s Greatest Places 2024” list. The list, which features 100 hotels, museums and a variety of other attractions, includes two locations right here in Kansas City.
The first Kansas City location to be featured in Time Magazine’s “Most Great Places on Earth” is CPKC Stadium, home to the KC Current and the first stadium in the world built for professional women’s sports.

Additionally, CPKC Stadium’s location is unique: the stadium is located on the Missouri River with a beautiful view of the Bond-Missouri River Bridge.
The second Kansas City location on TIME’s 2024 list is The Rabbit Hole, a children’s museum in North Kansas City that also officially opened this spring and will feature immersive art that visitors can participate in.
Once inside the Rabbit Hole, kids can read, draw, listen, and more. According to Time Magazine, “What really sets the space apart is its multi-sensory, strategic design, created by an in-house team of artists.”
Time magazine selected its list of locations through a nomination and application process from its international network of correspondents and contributors.
