The Ministry of Labour said it was prioritising employees amid the ongoing restructuring of Bahrain’s leading air conditioner manufacturing company. The ministry held a series of meetings with the company’s management and stressed the vital importance of protecting the rights of all employees, particularly the 220 Bahraini nationals.

The ministry asserted that it ensures that all corporate actions comply with advanced labor regulations that meet international standards.

In response, the company reiterated its commitment to upholding employee contract terms and paying wages on time – a welcome reassurance for employees at a time of change.
The Ministry of Labour said ensuring job security for Bahrainis remains its top priority, asserting that government policies aimed at attracting investment have strengthened the Kingdom’s labour market and led to increased employment opportunities for Bahrainis.
