Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is returning to Netflix this fall.
The season two teaser debuted on Sunday during the show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con, where fans also got to enjoy an early screening of the first episode of the new season, which premieres on Netflix on October 17th.
“The Nublar Five stow away on a freighter full of dinosaurs and head to parts unknown, where their mission to find their pursuer leads them into conflict with the mysterious Broker,” the synopsis for Season 2 reads. “Not knowing that Brooklyn is alive, they discover her location and are forced to question everything they thought they knew about each other.”
The animated series is a direct sequel to Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous (2020-2022), an animated series that follows dinosaur enthusiast Darius Bowman (Paul Mikel Williams), who is invited to attend a dinosaur-themed adventure camp after completing the Jurassic World video game. When dinosaurs escape their habitat, Darius and his fellow campers are stranded on an island and must find a way to escape alive.
“Chaos Theory” premieres in May and is set six years after the survivors “flee the island and struggle to find their footing, navigating a world full of dinosaurs and people who want to harm them.” Both shows are set between “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” (2018) and “Jurassic World: Dominion” (2022).
From showrunners Scott Creamer and Aaron Hammersley, and executive producers Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow and Frank Marshall, the DreamWorks Animation series also features the voices of Sean Giambroni, Darren Barnett, Raini Rodriguez, Kawthar Mohammed and Kirsten Kelly.
