Paris, July 28 (BNA): His Highness Sheikh Esa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) and Head of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, visited the Sports Village and met with the Kingdom’s delegation participating in the Olympics.
His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali was received by Bahrain Olympic Committee Secretary General Faris Mustafa Al Kooheji, Olympic Committee Member and President of the Weightlifting Federation Ishaq Ibrahim Ishaq, Bahrain Swimming Association President Mohamed Mujibel, Committee Secretary General Ahmed Mohamed Abdul Ghaffar and Deputy Head of Delegation Fazil Jassim.
His Highness Sheikh Esa bin Ali met with players, technical and administrative staff and conveyed greetings from His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Director General of General Sports and Chairman of BOC.
His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa said he was proud that Bahrain was able to take part in this global sporting event.
His Highness stressed the importance of representing the Kingdom with honour, achieving success in various competitions and doing their best to fly high the Bahraini flag.
His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali noted that the Kingdom of Bahrain aims to improve its standing in the field of sports at both the regional and international levels, and that sports plays a key role in Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali stressed that the athletes will be provided with all the support they need to achieve their goals and ambitions.
His Highness sent a message of encouragement to the athletes and highlighted their role as ambassadors for Bahrain on the global Olympic stage.
Noting that the athletes’ achievements are a testament to their hard work and dedication to training, His Highness expressed pride in the athletes’ efforts and assured them of the Kingdom’s full support during the competition.
His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa then presented souvenirs to all participating athletes and concluded the visit with a group photo, creating an atmosphere of pride among members of the Bahraini delegation.
The Bahraini Olympic delegation thanked His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa for his unwavering support and encouragement and vowed to put in their utmost efforts to achieve a prestigious result at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Sheikh Isa bin Alitu inspected the Sports Village and was briefed on the sports facilities and accommodation provided by the Olympic Organizing Committee for the participating athletes. He praised the high quality of the facilities and services provided, and commended the efforts made to ensure the athletes’ comfort so that they can perform at their best at the Olympic Games.
