Manama, July 21 (BNA): His Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy King, met today at the Gudaibiya Palace with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council, His Excellency Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, His Excellency General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council, His Excellency Sheikh Abdulhussein Khalaf Al Asfour, Vice Chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council, Lt. General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Director General of Public Security, His Excellency Yousuf bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Jafari Endowments Council, and several other dignitaries.
The Deputy King highlighted the strength of the Kingdom’s social fabric as a symbol of peaceful coexistence and tolerance. He praised the nation’s unity and social values, reflecting the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince expressed pride that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa recognized the government’s efforts to facilitate the success of the Ashura festival by providing necessary supplies.
The Deputy King stressed that government ministries and public sector entities played a key role in coordinating efforts and ensuring their success during the Ashura festival.
Meanwhile, their Excellencies expressed their gratitude to the Viceroy for his unwavering support for the concerted efforts that made Ashura a success.
