We’ve made several improvements to The War Within™’s user interface and quest icons, including a new arachnophobia filter, to make your adventure even more comfortable.

Quest Log Updates
Further updates have been made to the Quest Log (hotkey L), adding a checkbox selector for quests you want to track, as well as additional information about the quest and its status. When you hover over a quest in the log, you can also see the type of quest it is, such as if it’s repeatable, important, or part of a campaign questline. You’ll see a three dot icon to indicate the quest is in progress, or a campfire to indicate it’s part of a Warbands eligible quest.
Spellbook Updates
Hero Talents (available at level 71) have been added to the talent pane, as well as additional updates to the spellbook: specializations, talents, and spellbooks have all been consolidated into a single talent and spellbook option in the interface (hotkey N).
Players will now be able to see more spells and abilities on one screen, and all discipline abilities will be more easily viewable in a page. You can also use the search function at the top of the spellbook to see spells and abilities that are not visible in the action bar. Spellbooks can also be minimized. Passive abilities can be hidden from the list.
Craft Materials
Reagents now show which expansion they’re associated with, making it easier to organize the items you’ve banked and decide if you really need that Rain Poppy you’ve been saving from Pandaria, or if it’s time to let it go.
Arachnophobia Mode
For those who hate spiders and don’t want them to appear on the screen during their adventures, there is an option in the game menu (Escape hotkey)[全般]Section[アクセシビリティ]New in[クモ恐怖症モード]is available.
WARNING: Click on this image to see the original model.
Once selected, the spider will be visually replaced with another creature if possible. Not all spider models will be replaced and you may encounter references, but we hope this additional option will be helpful in your adventures in Azeroth. Check out our support article for more details (click on the example to see both the spider and the alternate form at the same time).
We hope that these and many other improvements will make your time in Azeroth even more enjoyable.
