Singaporeans can travel to 195 countries without a visa, but the United States doesn’t even make the top five, ranking eighth with access to only 186 countries.
The index, launched by London-based global citizenship and residence consultancy Henley & Partners, receives exclusive information from the International Air Transport Organization and assesses “where a passport sits on the global mobility spectrum.”
Second place was shared between five countries – Japan, Germany, France, Italy and Spain – which all offer visa-free travel to 192 destinations.

The UK, New Zealand, Norway, Belgium, Denmark and Switzerland ranked fourth with arrivals to 190 destinations, while Australia and Portugal ranked fifth with 189 destinations.
